In the shoulder caps, updated D3O zero construction in the shoulder/AC joint is complemented by dual core HD foam for pro-level protection and excellent shock absorption. In the sternum and spine, D3O partners with compress molded HD foam for added comfort, and a floating sternum with spine hybrid shields to provide protection in these areas for impact absorption no matter how you move on the ice.
The Tacks XF Pro shoulder pads feature Max Coverage Anatomical Shield Design with Amplified Mobility, preventing the pads from shifting so the protection stays close to the body. The Zotefoam on the side panels provides more airflow to help keep the body cool throughout the game.
With an adjustable strap system, you can also ensure that you’re getting a personalized fit. The torso straps can be adjusted by length, so you have a better wrap on whatever body type you have. The bicep pad can be moved up or down to interact better with your elbow pad and be tailored to needs. If your equipment doesn’t fit properly, the protective features won’t work as intended, creating a higher risk for injury.
