True HZRDUS 9X4 Senior Goalie Leg Pads: True/Lefevre are proud to offer their newest generation of flat face pad! Introducing the HZRDUS 9X4 Leg Pads! An evolution of the coveted L20.2 pads, the HZRDUS 9X4 pads are built to control the crease with a composite-reinforced thigh rise and a stiff, flat face build.

Core Construction

Redesigned, Composite Reinforced Thigh Rise: 30% stiffer thigh rise compared to previous generation L20.2 provides a more rigid pad seal in butterfly and RVH. With its high-strength, low-weight, composite reinforcement, the new thigh rise measures also 40% thinner, easing pad overlap and giving the pads a lighter, more agile feel.

Stiff, Flat Face Build: Evolving from True/Lefevre’s L20 line of pads, the HZRDUS 9X4 pads are built around a stiff core, wrapped in high density padding to fire pucks off of the pad; complimented by their clean, flat face appearance, the HZRDUS 9X4 pads are designed for precise, high velocity, rebound control.

Open Boot Angle: Stiffened, more open boot angle encourages the pad to sit higher on the skate, easing pad rotation, and offering greater post coverage.

No Break Outer Roll: The HZRDUS 9X4 leg pads feature a stiff, no-break outer roll that reinforces the top butterfly edge to help reduce skip over and ensure a tight 5-hole seal.

Fit & Comfort

Hybrid Pro Lace Toe Ties: True’s Hybrid Pro Laces secure each boot while allowing more give over traditional skate lace toe ties, offering improved edge control and greatly reducing lower body strain. Compared to full bungee toe ties, the Hybrid Pro Laces limit stretch to provide a firm anchor when pushing away from the posts.

True/Lefevre’s Fast Rotation System: FRS strapping secures the pads with a wide, plush wrap, internally adjustable at two different points to allow precision tuning of the pad’s fit. Additionally, True/Lefevre’s FRS helps to better balance the pad’s weight around the goalie’s calf, offering improved rotation with enhanced butterfly stability.

True Temper warranties its goalie blockers, catchers/gloves, and leg pads against defects in manufacturing and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of 90 days.
